Managing Your Change

Managing Your Change

Ken Cheng won the 10th annual Dave's Funniest Joke Of The Edinburgh Fringe with: "I'm not a fan of the new pound coin, but then again, I hate all change."...

I couldn't resist this one liner and it is so profoundly wise!

This is true … generally we all resist change (particularly the annoying 1p and 2 pence coins that seems to linger forever in the purse and no one wants)…  and in business life is the same, we are very adamant to change and generally resist it, however change is something that is not only necessary but, as business owners, we face change every day in one form or another (some more challenging than others) and is how we manage it that makes the difference. So with Change is all in the mindset and what we make of it... we could either resist the annoying 2p or aim to converted into shiny 12-side pound coins (or even an accolade)… cash-in!

I did find funny that Cheng is a math drop out from Cambridge University to pursue comedy and professional poker play, He could have been a great accountant!...what are the odds of that eh? :o)

Good for him for winning such prestigious accolade!
